Jim Paredes to Join Sister Patrcia Fox Back to Australia After BI Deports Nun
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednesday, April 25 ordered Australian nun, Sister Patricia Fox to leave the Philippines, within 30 days after she received the official document. The order came two days after the agency forfeited her visa. To protest the deportation order, singer Jim Paredes said that he will join Sr. Fox back to Australia.

DOJ Starts Probing Cyber Libel Complaint vs Rappler’s Fake News
The Department of Justice (DOJ) began on Monday its preliminary investigation into a cyber libel complaint against news website Rappler, its executives and columnist, filed by businessman Wilfredo Keng. The complaint stemmed from a fake news published by Rappler on May 28, 2012, entitled “CJ using SUVs of 'controversial' businessmen.”
LP Uses Drug Money for Destabilization Plot Against Duterte Administration
The Liberal Party (LP) is likely using drug money in funding the destabilization plot against the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte. This is according to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Monday, March 26, as he echoed a similar statement made by Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano last week.

3 Local Universities Reject Bam Aquino’s Request to be Resource Speaker for Free Tuition Law
Three local universities have rejected the request of Senator Bam Aquino to be their resource speaker. Apparently, the Liberal Party senator has been visiting state colleges and local universities all over the country to discuss the Republic Act No. 10931, also known as Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act of 2017 to the students.

Church Construction Worker Jailed for Stealing P237 From Donation Box
A construction worker in Manila was arrested on Friday, March 16 for stealing P237 from the donation box of a Catholic church he is working for. The suspect, who was identified as a certain Jay, 19 years old, was reportedly caught on CCTV at around 6 pm that day, stealing the money from one of the boxes, and immediately left the scene.
