Pangilinan Slams Palace for Apologizing Over Sister Patricia Fox’ Arrest

Malacañang Palace apologized on Wednesday, April 18 for the arrest of Sister Patricia Fox, the 71-year old Australian missionary who was arrested by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) last Monday. And although she was released in less than 24 hours, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan is not happy, and criticized the Palace despite its apology.

Germany Declares Robredo, LP Members Persona Non Grata for Disrespectful Photo at Holocaust Memorial

The German government has declared Vice President Leni Robredo as persona non grata, along with some members of the Liberal Party (LP) who joined the group photo on top of the Holocaust Memorial, a memorial in Berlin dedicated to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, a mass genocide during World War II that killed around 6 million Jews.

Fans of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion are now able to see their favorite love team together again. And although the Sharon-Gabby McDonald's commercial is only 1:28 minutes, it was enough to create “kilig.” However, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan allegedly asked McDonald's to disable comments on the said TV commercial.

PNP Bans Tokhang Operations at Night and Weekends, Sen Pangilinan Agrees

The Philippine National Police (PNP) will no longer conduct Oplan Tokhang operation at night and on weekends, according to the latest supplemental operational guidelines by the signed by PNP chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on Monday, January 22. The new Tokhang guidelines was formally announced on Wednesday, January 24.

Hontiveros, Villanueva Admit 'Shabu Middleman' Kenneth Dong as Campaign Donor, 3 Other Senators Linked

Senators Risa Hontiveros and Joel Villanueva admitted that both of them received campaign money from Kenneth Dong, or Dong Yi Shen Xi, a Filipino-Chinese businessman who allegedly acted as middleman in the shipment of P6.4 billion worth of shabu into the country. At the same time, three other senators also admitted their links with him.
