“Actually, idea yun ni Kris last year pa kaso laging hindi daw available si Philip. Pero last week lang, nag meeting na sila for the concept. Isang araw lang naman ang shooting kaya sakto lang siya na mare-release sa mismong araw ng Valentine’s Day.” A Chowking insider, who requested not to be identified told us here at PNC last Saturday.
“Hindi rin naman nakikipag-compete si Kris sa Sharon-Gabby love team, at isa nga rin daw sila sa mga hinahangaan nya. In fact, alam naman nating magkakaibigan silang tatlo.” The Chowking insider added, noting that Kris and Chowking will simultaneously made the formal announcement about the fast food’s Valentine’s commercial.

So far, there has never been a reunion project between Kris and Philip after the made the movie, “Nandito Ako” back in 1994. Kris was then a bankable star at the age of 23, while Philip was already 45 years old, and has won several acting awards. Philip, or Ipe, was then married with three children, but he was already separated from his wife.
Kris’ affair with Philip was a very big issue that time especially that she is the youngest daughter of former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino and the late senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. They also have a 22-year age gap, and Philip is a married man. However, their extra-marital affair was short-lived and Kris dated comedian Joey Marquez.
As we all know, Kris Aquino married PBA star James Yap in July 10, 2005, and gave birth to their child, Bimby on April 19, 2007. But in June 2010, Kris publicly announced that they are already separated. Kris will turn 47 on Valentine’s Day, and has no lover as of now. On the other hand, Philip Salvador is 64 and is married to Emma Ledesma.
