Six alleged members of the New People’s Army (NPA) were arrested last Saturday, March 3. Among them are two minors and four adults including a newly graduate of University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu named Myles Albasin y Cantal. With this, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) said they will closely monitor the two minors.

The House of Representatives on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 approved a budget of only P1,000 to the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) for 2018.
