Sarah Elago Complains Her Apple iPhone X Cannot Accept Incoming Calls

Kabataan Party List Representative Sarah Elago got angry when her Apple iPhone X cannot accept incoming calls. In fact, she wanted to throw her $1000 iPhone out the window. But incidentally, she is not the only one complaining on not being able to receive incoming calls, as tons of iPhone X users rushed to Apple forum to complain.

“Sorry if I cannot answer your calls at once. iPhone X has a bug and I want to throw it through the window. Hope Apple can fix this asap.” Sarah Elago (@sarahelgo) tweeted on Monday, February 5. This is according to a screenshot that is now going viral on Facebook. However, we at PNC cannot find it on her official Twitter account.

Apparently, other dismayed Apple users said that the same problem also occurs at iPhone 6s and iPhone 8, while some said that their iPhone rings but the display is blank so they cannot answer it. On the other hand, some of them said that the problem is being fixed temporarily by resetting the iPhone after a backup from their computers.

According to a report at Financial Times last Sunday, February 4, they have already reached out to Apple about this growing number of complaints of not being to receive incoming calls which results to missed calls. It said that Apple is now “looking at these reports” but there was no information as to its cause and when the bug will be fixed.

Meanwhile, Elago is urging students to join the rally against President Duterte on February 23. This is after he threatened to give the scholarship slots of protesting students to young members of “lumad” or indigenous peoples (IPs). Last Thursday, tons of students of University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman walked out from their classes and joined the anti-Duterte rally.

“His statement exposes the true nature of his ‘free education’ scam: not all will benefit; instead of guaranteeing the right of every child to education, he dangles it around every time there is opposition to his fanatical dictatorship.” She said last Friday, adding that more UP students are walking out from their classes that day to join the upcoming rally.
