Watch: Addict Father Arrested for Killing 2-Year Old Daughter, CHR Reacts (Video)

A drug-addict father was arrested in Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City last Sunday, April 8 for killing his 2-year old daughter, according to a news report at “Unang Balita” via GMA 7’s morning show “Unang Hirit.” On the other hand, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) released their comment on the arrest. Watch: House Approves CHR P1,000 Budget for 2018, CHR Chairman Luis Gascon Cries With Joy (Video)

The House of Representatives on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 approved a budget of only P1,000 to the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) for 2018. The nearly-zero budget was approved via majority votes, with at least 119 congressmen voted Ýes’ and only 32 voted ‘No. Watch the deliberation of some of the lawmakers on the video below.

CHR to Investigate Police Report of Suicide of Rape-Slay Suspect of 8 Year Old Girl

Hilario "Larry" Herrera, the suspect in the kidnapping and rape-slay of an eight-year-old girl has committed suicide inside the Philippine National Police's (PNP) national headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City on Tuesday night, July 25, police said. However, the CHR (Commission on Human Rights) is set to conduct its own investigation.

Kin of Missing Bulacan Massacre Suspect Seeks Protection from CHR, Meets With Etta Rosales

A relative of the missing 'person of interest' in the Bulacan massacre is now asking protection from the CHR (Commission on Human Rights), and recently met with former CHR Commissioner Etta Rosales. This is after two other 'persons of interest' - Ronaldo Pacinos, alias Inggo and Roosevelt Turima alias Ponga have been killed in the past two days.

CHR Condemns 2 Consecutive Killings of Bulacan Massacre 'Persons of Interest'

The CHR (Commission on Human Rights) condemned the two consecutive killings of rhe so-called 'persons of interest' in the massacre of 5 people in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. This is after a certain Roosevelt Turima, alyas 'Ponga' was killed this Wednesday, July 5, inside his house, near the house where the bloody massacre took place.
