Bam Aquino Slams Duterte for Wonderful Message on Ninoy Aquino Day

President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday, August 21, sends a heartfelt message as Filipinos commemorate the 35th death anniversary of former Senator Benigno ‘Ninoy’ Aquino, Jr. But while a lot of Filipinos admire the president for his statement, Senator Benigno ‘Bam’ Aquino IV seems to be not pleased and criticized President Duterte.

Bam Aquino Slams Free MRT Rides for Soldiers, “Dapat pati teachers libre din”

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is giving all active members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) free rides via the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) for a year starting Wednesday, April 25. But while this wonderful gesture from the government pleased the public, Liberal Party (LP) Senator Bam Aquino is not totally satisfied.

MMDA Penalizes Bam Aquino Over EPAL Tarpaulin Hanging at High Power Electric Cable

A huge tarpaulin of Senator Benigno “Bam” Aquino III, congratulating the graduates of 2018 was spotted hanging in a high power electric cable near a Meralco post in Quezon City. When it was shown to the MMDA (Metropolitan Manila Development Authority), the Liberal Party (LP) senator was immediately sent a notice, and was asked to pay the corresponding fine.

Bam Aquino Buys 5 Kilos of NFA Rice, Gives to Poor Families in Tondo

Senator Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV bought five kilos of NFA rice, and gave them to the poor families in Baseco compound in Tondo, Manila. The Liberal Party (LP) visited the area on Tuesday, April 3, and checked the current prices of rice have increased due to the implementation of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law.

3 Local Universities Reject Bam Aquino’s Request to be Resource Speaker for Free Tuition Law

Three local universities have rejected the request of Senator Bam Aquino to be their resource speaker. Apparently, the Liberal Party senator has been visiting state colleges and local universities all over the country to discuss the Republic Act No. 10931, also known as Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act of 2017 to the students.

Teachers, Students in Bukidnon Did Not Listen to Bam Aquino's Speech About Free Tuition Law

A lot of teachers and students in a state university in Bukidnon, did not listen while Senator Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV is on stage, talking about the free tuition law. This is according to a student of the said university and a follower of Sass Rogando Sasot on Facebook. The unnamed student said that the incident happened last Friday, March 9.

Sen Bam Aquino to Propose Mandatory Issuance of Passports Right After High School Graduation

Senator Bam Aquino plans to propose that issuance of passport be mandatory to all Filipinos right after they graduate from high school. Currently, Filipinos are only required to have a passport if they plan to travel outside the country or to work abroad. The Liberal Party (LP) senator said his proposal shall ease the problems of passport issuance and renewal.

A group of college students in Batangas will burn tons of copies of Bam Aquino 2018 calendar on this coming Saturday, January 13, as a protest to what they described as “Epal” or self promotion. According to the Comelec (Commission on Elections) rules, the Liberal Party (LP) senator can run for re-election in 2019 since he was elected in 2013.

Senator Bam Aquino seems to be not a fan of FPJ’s “Ang Probinsyano,” the famous action-drama TV series at ABS-CBN.
