Jim Paredes to Join Sister Patrcia Fox Back to Australia After BI Deports Nun
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednesday, April 25 ordered Australian nun, Sister Patricia Fox to leave the Philippines, within 30 days after she received the official document. The order came two days after the agency forfeited her visa. To protest the deportation order, singer Jim Paredes said that he will join Sr. Fox back to Australia.

Pangilinan Slams Palace for Apologizing Over Sister Patricia Fox’ Arrest
Malacañang Palace apologized on Wednesday, April 18 for the arrest of Sister Patricia Fox, the 71-year old Australian missionary who was arrested by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) last Monday. And although she was released in less than 24 hours, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan is not happy, and criticized the Palace despite its apology.

Sister Patricia Fox Arrested in 2013 for Investigating Hacienda Luisita, CBCP Confirms
Sister Patricia Fox was arrested in 2013 for investigating land redistribution in Hacienda Luisita, a huge sugar estate owned by the family of then-President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III. This was confirmed by the CBCP (Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines), shortly after the Bureau of Immigration (BI) released the Australian nun.
