Watch: Son Arrested for Raping, Killing His 86-Year Old Mother, Allegedly Ate Her Internal Organs (Video)

A man in Negros Oriental who gone crazy was arrested in this Monday, August 28 for raping and killing his own mother. The crime happened in Purok 5, Barangay Boloc-boloc, Sibulan. The suspect was identified as Roger Manaban, 50, while the victim is his 86-year old mother, Josefina Barera Manaban. Below is the video of his arrest. Watch with caution.



As you can see, Roger Manaban was wearing brown shirt and shorts, and has some blood on his face while arresting police officers are bringing him to the police utility truck, as shocked residents look on. And despite his hands were already tied at his back, he still tried to resist and uttered some words while being brought to the said vehicle.

According to PO3 Diaz of PNP Sibulan, residents noticed the lifeless body of Josefina inside her home, bathed with her own blood. The policemen who rushed to the crime scene saw Roger holding a bladed weapon. The son and his mother had no clothes on when the cops arrived, suggesting that he also raped the victim before or after killing her.



In addition, Roger Manaban also allegedly cooked the internal organs of her mother, and ate them, based on the evidence found at the crime scene. Nevertheless, initial investigation suggest that his mother instantly because of the multiple stabs on her body. The suspect, who is believed to be mentally deranged, is married and also lives in the same area.



The young Manaban is now in jail inside the local police station, and will be charged for parricide. As of posting, local authorities are still confirming if he has been taking illegal drugs before he has gone crazy. The siblings of the suspect, and other family members have not yet issued any statement regarding the heinous crime.
