Watch: Arrested Cop Gets Naked to Make Sure His Arresting Cops Cannot Plant 'Evidence' on Him (Video)

A policeman was arrested in Tanza, Baybay, in Iloilo City by local authorities for his alleged involvement in illegal drugs trade in their area. But because there were some reports that some policemen allegedly planted 'evidence' on the suspects they arrested, the suspect cop played it safe, and removed all his clothes after he was arrested. Watch video below.

According to RMN Iloilo, the arrested cop was identified as PO1 Dumar Deocampo, who was arrested in a buy-bust operation in their area. As you can see on the cellphone video, the cop was handcuffed in a patrol vehicle, and wearing no clothes except his underwear. No further details were mentioned, but it appears that he was the only one arrested.

Using their native dialect, you can hear PO1 Deocampo telling the person holding the camera to focus on his handcuff, and his naked body. He also moved around, and held his underwear to show the camera that he has nothing inside it. And indeed, it's very clear that he has no illegal drugs anywhere, and that it's impossible to plant evidence against him.

In a separate Facebook post also at RMN Iloilo, a CCTV video revealed that PO1 Deocampo was arrested \at around 1 a,m, Saturday, August 12. That time, the Iloilo cop was still dressed up, and his arresting officers can be seen discussing something. It also showed no commotion at all, suggesting that the suspect cop surrendered peacefully.

Incidentally, Ozamiz City Police Director Jovie Espenido has just announced that his next assignment will be at Iloilo City, as it dubbed by President Rodrigo Duterte as the most shabulized” city in the country. It was under his leadership when Albuera, Leyte Rolando Espinosa Sr.was killed, and later was followed by Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, Sr.

As of posting, there is still no update about the arrest of PO1 Deocampo. Nevertheless, many netizens admired his presence of mind when he took off all his clothes before he was brought to the police station. However, some netizens suggested that this is not applicable to every arrested drug suspects, especially those who chose to fight back.
