"Leni is my VP too!” Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog wrote on May 11, 2016 as a comment to a Facebook post by former Saranggani Governor Migs Dominguez on the same day. The said Facebook post bears a white print in a black background.saying, “Binoto ko si Leni. Hindi imbento ang boto ko. (I voted for Leni. My vote is not invented.)"
But while there's really nothing wrong with some Vice Mayor Nova Princess supporting VP Leni Robredo, many netizens could not help but to ask if the Parojinogs used their money and influence to help the Liberal Party (LP) win in several areas in down South. Looking back, a certain Mark Lopez made a fast check on the election results in Mindanao.
"In the presidential race, Duterte lost in five (5) Mindanao provinces out of of 27. These five provinces are Misamis Occidental, Camiguin, Agusan del Sur, Zamboanga Del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur." Mark Lopez wrote on Facebook on July 30, the day that the police raid the Parojinog compound for alleged illegal possession of firearms.

"It was Mar Roxas of the LP who won in these provinces, except for Zamboanga del Sur, which went to Grace Poe. Duterte also lost in four (4) cities in Mindanao, out of 33...Do I still need to say "connect the dot? Or is it clear?" He added, noting that Ozamiz City is one of these cities where Roxas also won. In fact, almost the entire LP ticket won in Ozamiz.
It can be recalled that on August 7, 2016, President Rodrigo Duterte named the Parojinogs (including the mayor's brother, former Board Member Ricardo Parojinog) as among the narco-politicians in his drug list. Mayor Parojinog then categorically denied the allegations, but admitted that convicted drug lord Herbert Colanggo is Nova Princess's boyfriend.
