500 Bayan Members Not to Attend Anti Duterte RevGov Rally on Nov 30 due to Lamborghini Controversy

At least 500 members of the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) will not attend the protest rally this coming Thursday, November 30 against RevGov (revolutionary government), which President Rodrigo plans to declare if he thinks it’s necessary. The said rally will be met by pro-Duterte supporters who want RevGov to be declared.

Ang problema kasi, bukod sa di kami nababayaran ng ayos, parang yumayaman pa yung mga namumuno ” Norberto (not his real name), a seasonal construction worker from San Rafael, Bulacan told reporters.

He added, noting that in several cases, they were not even provided with transportation allowance.

Norberto alleged that around 250 of them, and another 250 from Apalit were promised to receive P500 per rally, The frustrated Bayan member did not mention further details, but it appears that he is referring to their former local leaders who allegedly ran away, taking all the money that was supposed to be given to them as “allowance” for attending rallies.
