LP Supporter Punches Woman Pro-Duterte Neighbor for Commenting on News Report Without Reading the Content

A supporter of the Liberal Party (LP) lost his temper and punched his lady neighbor on her face. The reason? She immediately posted a comment on a news report on Facebook about the recent ASEAN Summit held in Manila, without reading first the entire content. Apparently, the woman cursed at him on her comment, and did not accept her mistake.

According to SPO4 Raul Abalos of Eastern Police District Station 3, a certain Dolores filed a complaint of physical injuries against her neighbor, Winston de Ocampo, 31. The 29-year old wife of an OFW, who admitted being one of the Diehard Duterte Supporter (DDS), said that she and the suspect are neighbors for over 8 years, and had no past quarrels.

Abalos tells exclusively to Philippine News Courier.

He added.

As mentioned in Dolores’ complaint, De Ocampo shared a news report about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressing his concern over the human rights violations in the Philippines, related to illegal drugs. Triggered by her emotion as a Duterte supporter and a fan of Trudeau, she immediately commented, “Put***-ina mo, fake news na naman yan!

But what Dolores didn’t know is that the news is true. President Duterte even described Trudeau’s comment as “personal and official insult.” De Ocampo politely replied to her comment and told her to check the news on Google, and not to comment without reading the content. But instead of apologizing, she continued to throw bad words against him.

The next day, they saw each other while they both fetch their children from school. The victim approached the suspect and continued to insist that the news he shared on Facebook was fake. They started to debate, and De Ocampo later punched her on the face. Dolores wrote on the last part of her complaint.
