“Feeling sikat, wala naman lumalapit maliban sa mga nadaanan niya na nakipagkamay na hindi pa enteresadong makipagusap. Hay trililing kelan k matatauhan na wala nang naniniwala sayo.” Antonio Bautista Mercurio wrote on his Facebook page, as a caption to the video. Nevertheless, the name of the person who took the video was not identified.
As you can see, Sen. Trillanes was wearing a blue sweatshirt with a hood and walking probably inside a mall in South Korea. Smiling at his best, the soldier turned politician approached a Filipino and shook his hand. Then, he approached a Pinay who was talking to a Pinoy. The senator tried to shake hands with the woman, but she just ignored him.
On the other hand, a separate video was uploaded on Facebook last October 29 by a certain Christopher De Jesus, an OFW in South Korea. According to the netizen, Filipinos who saw Sen. Trillanes ignored him. As you can see, the senator was wearing the same blue sweatshirt which means that the earlier video was probably taken on the same day.
That time, Trillanes was in the streets and people are falling in line waiting for a taxi. Based on De Jesus narration, he hates senator and dubbed him as one of the destabilizers of the Duterte administration and the most hated Philippine senator in history. In fact, he strongly suggested that Trillanes should go back to the Philippines.
Nevertheless, a netizen named Edwin Cruz who shared the video on his Facebook page this Friday voiced out his opinion on why people who saw Trillanes tend to ignore him. According to him, most of them are Koreans and East Indians and do not know the anti-Duterte senator, which is the main reason why they did not approach him.
