Maine Mendoza is now in full support of President Rodrigo Duterte’s war against illegal drugs. The phenomenal AlDub actress made her bold announcement after agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has arrested the suspect in the gruesome killing of one of her diehard fans, and presented it to media last Tuesday, January 16.

Rachelle "Raz" Alfaro, a registered nurse and the administrator of “The MaineGirls Fans Club” social media accounts, was killed in a resort in Tanza, Cavite last March 2017. The victim suffered 17 stabbed wounds, and died shortly after. A witness identified the suspect as Shanon James Bon Buckley, who immediately escaped after the incident.

That time, a Raiana Alfaro (Raz’ sister) said that Ayee Chan, Shanon (Chan’s ex-husband) and Raz were the only ones inside the room when the murder took place. She said Ayee requested Raz to accompany her to the resort as she visits their child. According to her, the former couple fight about the knife and Raz tried to pacify them.

Ayee allegedly hid inside the bathroom, while Raz was left behind along with Shanon. Shortly, Ayee heard loud noise but decided not to go out from the bathroom for the fear that she might also get killed. But upon his arrest, Shanon denied the killing, and said that it was Ayee who killed Raz. PDEA also identified the suspect as a party drugs supplier.

Meanwhile, Maine Mendoza said that she is happy that justice for Raz has been served. In her tweet last Wednesday, she also thanked PDEA for arresting the suspect, adding that she is supporting all its operations against illegal drugs. “Justice is still alive. Thanks PDEA. I’m with you all the way.” She wrote, but deleted it after a few minutes.
