Vice Ganda Complains About Heavy Traffic in EDSA, Kris Aquino Reacts

Vice Ganda cannot stand the heavy traffic in EDSA anymore, and complained about it onTwitter this Wednesday, June 21. In his series of tweets, the singer-comedian expressed his dissatisfaction as a concerned taxpayer, saying that he wonders where his million-taxes are being spent. Later, Kris Aquino could not help but react on his tweets.

According to Vice Ganda, he understands that the traffic in EDSA is an old problem, but still he cannot help but curse about it, especially that he is paying millions of pesos for his taxes. He added that he just close his eyes every time he pays his taxes, and curses every time he gets stuck in heavy traffic. So he asks, "San napunta? (Where did it go?)."

Vice Ganda noted that he plans to make people laugh, but because of the traffic, he cannot arrive the place on time, despite the adjustments he make. The 'It's Showtime' host said the spent two in his 'field trip' in EDSA, adding that he will buy airplane if he gets super rich. Nevertheless, he hopes Filipinos can still benefit from his taxes thru other services.

The next day, Kris Aquino also tweeted the heavy traffic in EDSA. And although she did not mention Vice Ganda's name, many netizens believe that her tweets appear to be her reactions on his rant. "It's OK to complain about traffic, especially if your taxes are super huge. But still we have the MRT, I rode it once, remember?." She tweeted.

"We all know that Kuya Noy did his best to solve it during his time. And I believe President Duterte's administration is also doing the same.” The Queen of all Media tweeted next. But shortly after, the said tweets can no longer be seen. Kris and Vice Ganda are known to be good friends, especially when Kris was still working with ABS-CBN, hosting several shows.

Based on the records released by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Kris Aquino was the top taxpayer in the country in 2011, and paid P49.87 million. In 2013, she landed on the 16th spot in the Top 500 list, and paid P40.48 million. On the other hand, Vice Ganda, whose real name is Jose Marie Viceral, placed 228th, and paid P10.57 million for his taxes.
