Ex-CHR Lawyer to Sue CHR Chairman Chito Gascon for Not Following CHR Functions, as Mandated by Law

Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Chairman Jose Luis Martin ‘Chito’ Gascon is set face charges very soon. This is after a former lawyer of CHR plans to sue him for not following the functions of the agency, as mandated by law. The move comes a few days after the House, via majority votes approved a budget of only P1,000 for CHR in 2018.
