Marawi ‘Bakwit’ Protest Leader Explains How Militant Groups are “Taking Care of Them”

Around 100 members of Bakwit (evacuees from Mindanao) received a supposed bonus package from various militant groups. This includes rice, canned goods, ham, and keso de bola. This is after they held a protest rally in Mendiola on Wednesday, December 6, demanding the Duterte administration not to extend Martial Law in Mindanao.

The government forces have rescued Catholic priest, Father Teresito "Chito" Suganub from the hands of the terrorist Maute group on Saturday, September 16, 2017. This is according to Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza, who first made the announcement via his Facebook page on Sunday morning.
