Duterte Orders Immediate Closure of Resorts Without Nurse, First Aid Medicines
President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the immediate closure of resorts and similar tourist destinations that have no nurse and first-aid medicines in case there is an accident or emergency. The president’s order comes a day after ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Karen Davila shared the details of her son’s accident in Siargao last March 28.

2 Parties Reject LP’s Resistance Coalition Invitation in 2019 Elections Despite Huge Money Offer
Two major political parties have already rejected the offer of the Liberal Party (LP) for a resistance coalition in the coming 2019 midterm elections. This comes a day after LP President, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan said that a genuine opposition is needed to make sure that the alleged evil plans of President Rodrigo Duterte will not succeed.

Robredo Not Invited to Attend Duterte’s Birthday Party
President Rodrigo Duterte turns 73 today, March 28. But because it is Holy Week, the president is set to have a simple birthday party celebration in his home on Easter Sunday, April 1. As expected, his children, some of his cabinet members and close friends will attend. Nevertheless, Vice President Leni Robredo is not invited to the said event.
