Former DILG (Department of the Interior and Local Government) Secretary Mar Roxas and Senate Minority Floor Leader Franklin Drilon are the top drug lord protectors in the Visayan region. This is according to a sworn affidavit of suspected drug lord Ricky Suarez Serenio, who was arrested last January 8 at his hideout in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

The suspect was later identified as Mike Carlos, 35, and a resident in the said condominium. He apologized for his actions, but nevertheless defended himself.
