A policeman was arrested in Tanza, Baybay, in Iloilo City by local authorities for his alleged involvement in illegal drugs trade in their area. But because there were some reports that some policemen allegedly planted 'evidence' on the suspects they arrested, the suspect cop played it safe, and removed all his clothes after he was arrested. Watch: 1,500 PLDT Contractual Workers Personally Thanked DOLE Sec Bello, USec Maglunsod (Video)

In a very unusual scenario, around 1,500 contractual employees of PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Inc.) gathered in front of DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) main office in Manila last Thursday, August 10. but not to hold a protest rally. Instead, they went there to personally thanked the Labor department for their efforts for their regularization. Watch the video below.

PET Rejects 'Piso Para sa Laban ni Leni' Donations as Support to Help VP Robredo Pay Counter Protest Fee

The Supreme Court (SC), sitting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), rejected the 'Piso Para sa Laban ni Leni,' a donation campaign of the supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo to help her pay the remaining balance of P7.449 million of her counter protest against former Senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos in the May 2016 elections.
